A Classic 911, Curated the
Rover Trophy Way
A high-end Porsche 911 restomod with modern performance and the soul of an air-cooled classic.
Limited, numbered builds from $249,000.
Vintage Trophy, part of the Vintage Trophy Brands including Rover Trophy and Altezza Restorations, exists to build vehicles that feel timeless, modern, and luxurious..
The Signature 911 is our halo Porsche project: a reimagined G-body 911 that:
-
Drives like a thoroughly modern driver’s car
-
Looks like it belongs on a concours lawn
-
Feels like a bespoke object, custom color finishes
We treat each build as a commission. Once it leaves our shop, it carries the Rover Trophy name for life.

Every Signature 911 begins with a carefully selected 1978–1989 911 coupe (SC or 3.2 Carrera):
-
Clean title and straight shell
-
Inspected for rust, previous repairs, and hidden issues
-
Rust addressed with proper metal replacement, not shortcuts
Each completed car is numbered:
“Rover Trophy Signature 911 – No. 001, 002, …”
and documented in our internal build registry.
Period Lines. Signature Finish.
We strip the car, correct the metal, and refine panel gaps before any paint touches the shell.
-
Premium multi-stage paint, color-sanded and polished
-
A curated palette of period Porsche colors and Rover Trophy-inspired blacks and metallics
-
Bespoke colors available by commission
-
New seals, refined trim, and upgraded or restored lighting
Finished it will be a 911 that looks flawless in direct sunlight and under show lights.
A Cabin That Fits the Badge
Inside, the Signature 911 feels like a tailored, modernized cockpit:
-
Sport or Recaro-style seats, rebuilt with new foam
-
Leather or leather/cloth combinations in black, warm neutrals, and optional gold accent stitching
-
Houndstooth, tartan, or Pepita inserts as a Rover Trophy design signature
-
New carpets, headliner, and a restored dash
-
Rebuilt gauges with subtle Rover Trophy details
Comfort upgrades—discreet sound deadening, optional upgraded A/C, and a retro-look head unit with Bluetooth—make long trips and daily use genuinely enjoyable.
Flat-Six, Re-Engineered
We build a 3.4–3.5L flat-six that feels muscular but refined:
-
Forged internals, performance cams, upgraded oiling
-
Twin-plug heads with modern ignition
-
Individual throttle body EFI with programmable ECU
-
Or, by commission, a more classic induction system
We target ~280–320 hp, tuned for torque and real-world drivability, not just dyno numbers.
Each Rover Trophy engine is dyno-tuned, and the data lives in your build book.
