When prioritizing your needs for your dream build (and if whiplash is not your goal) the benefits are clear. Smooth power curve, fuel economy, and life expectancy all give a nod to the diesel option. Along with a 2 year/ 2,600 hour warranty, it fits the Trophy quality bar.
The Cummins "crate" package includes the R2.8L engine (161HP) paired with the R380 5 Speed standard transmission and bolts right to the new Land Rover transfer case. We prepare and modify the defender chassis and engine bay to receive this power plant.
This crate combo comes ready to assemble. Built with the very best components and will deliver the distinct Land Rover sound but will be much quieter than the traditional diesel clatter.
